Audience and Business Problem: This course was designed to train on-site and remote retail workers and middle management who were experiencing lower productivity, absences, and turnover due to employee stress.

Solution: Utilize Mindfulness Mediation to help workers manage stress and de-escalate reactive emotions, resulting in fewer customer complaints, increased productivity, and decreased employee absence/turnover.

Highlights: Continuous Scenario, Click-to-Reveal Interactions, Pop-up Interactions, Drag-and-Drop Interactions, Slider Interaction, Voice-over Script, Avatars, Hotspots, Animation, States, Markers, Triggers, Knowledge Check, Resources, and Final Assessment

Process: Using the ADDIE/SAM models, the needs analysis revealed the essential skills needed to solve the business problem, which became the foundation for learning objectives. Appropriately chunked content reduced cognitive load for the learner while building on skills throughout. A relatable scenario made the information relevant to the learner to maximize impact. Several iterations of feedback ensured that the content was focused and accurately achieved the learning objectives. Kirkpatrick’s second and third levels of evaluation ensure the skills are developed during training and practiced back in the workplace.

Audience and Business Problem: This course was designed to train customer success managers (CSMs) who were struggling to find a sense of focus, which resulted in superfluous tasks and a lack of innovation.

Solution: By creating and refining Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), CSMs become empowered to get innovative as they streamline productivity and increase renewal rates.

Highlights: Drag-and-Drop Interaction, Tab Interaction, Markers, Flashcard Interaction, Mini Scenario, Knowledge Checks, and Final Assessment

Process: The needs analysis helped identify a lack of focus as the barrier to increased productivity and renewal rates. Breaking down the elements of OKRs into digestible steps avoids overwhelming the learner and provides a simple roadmap to success. Knowledge checks and realistic scenarios help the learner directly understand the personal benefits, thus increasing motivation and buy-in. The iterative nature of the ADDIE/SAM model ensured clarity and focus throughout the module, and by incorporating Levels 2 and 3 of Kirkpatrick’s model, the immediate assessment and longer-term implementation checks verify learner understanding and application of the learning objectives.
